Tony brings more than 20 years of experience leading complex transformation programmes across some of the world's most recognised organisations — including Royal Mail Group, Goldman Sachs, Disney, HM Passport Office, Department of Health & Social Care, Boeing and NASA. He has led individual programmes worth hundreds of millions of pounds — and across his career, managed portfolios with a combined return running into the billions. With over a decade building and running AI in live production environments, Tony has seen first-hand how AI, properly applied, transforms delivery speed, cost and robustness — and the return on investment it generates when implementation is done right.

Tony's technical roots run deep. His career began in engineering — progressing from electronics, test and repair of electro-mechanical simulation components through installation and commissioning of advanced aerospace simulation systems for programmes including the Eurofighter and multiple Airbus and Boeing platforms, before moving into systems engineering management within the Entertainment sector. There he led multidisciplinary teams delivering world-leading automation and immersive technologies for clients including Walt Disney, Universal Studios and Goldman Sachs — introducing world-first solutions combining precision opto-mechanical engineering with advanced software control systems. He has personally designed, coded and integrated those systems, which means his understanding of technology comes from building it, not just managing the people who do. That foundation continues to inform his approach to AI — where the difference between AI that works in production and AI that impresses in a demo is, at its core, an engineering and delivery problem.

Tony has since built the last decade of his career operating at Programme Director level across some of the world's most complex delivery environments. A member of the Association for Project Management, trained and certified across multiple delivery methodologies including APM, PRINCE2 and Agile, with deep expertise in process design and mapping. It is this process expertise — understanding how work actually flows through an organisation — that underpins both sides of Pinnacle's capability: successful AI implementation and successful programme delivery both depend on having the right processes in place first.
